So….. Zaheer is Korra’s Guru Pathik?? And if he’s learned how to fly, shouldn’t we call him Guru Zaheer??

Zaheer did something I am not sure anyone has ever accomplished before: He broke the Avatar, both physically and mentally.

All of Korra enemies had reasonable ideologies but agree with toph they took them to the extreme and only created disaster in the end. I can see Zaheer and kuvira both realized that in the end.

I hope Zaheer gains a new ability in honor of P’li. Bending Natural Gas ⛽️ 💨 💥 from underground to escape his prison. We learn in the Yangchen novels that Combustion benders are trained by being chained underwater under high pressure in order to use their lung 🫁 capacity to create explosions…they achieve this through the fear of drowning. A Firebender 🔥 facing the extreme of their polar opposite (Water) in drowning creates a Combustion bender 🧨 🧨 💥 Now an Airbender 🌬️ facing the extreme of their polar opposite (Earth) in being buried alive creates a Combustion (Gas) bender ⛽️💨💥, with the limited air, as the fear asphyxiation, they draw air/gas through cracks in the earth and through high pressure create explosions 💥

Fun fact: There is a possibility that Zaheer might get free one day, Avatar Yang Chen invented an airbending technique that was a very powerful air blast strong enough to part the sea. So who knows

@@BRougeonly Yangchen was mentioned to achieve that ability and she's the avatar. There are few abilities who are exclusive to the Avatar, like, just find somewhere here on the internet so you will understand it better.

I wonder if it might be possible for Zaheer to figure out how to exit the physical world into the spirit world and exit back to the physical world at will in a different place?
