The weird thing is this actually made sense. Zuko had to look within himself (to find out his origins and ties to Avatar Roku) to save himself from his otherself (that is Ozai's son the Zuko that tried to capture the Avatar). Only then his true self (the firelord that ended the war and restored peace to the world) would reveal itself. It's these small details that make ATLA the greatest show of all time.

This quote really helped me during a bad time of my life. I felt lost and confused and not too sure what I wanted to do with my life. I always loved this quote, so I actually decided to follow Iroh's advice. I am now currently working at UCLA and in the process of writing a graphic novel. yeah I think it was mostly humor but thinking about it is sad. All the comics related to Azula basically explains that she was a psychopath or something similar. Zuko tried to help her recover from her trauma like he did. I don't think it worked and she was one of the worst tragedy in Avatar in my opinion.
