I believe the smallest pistons should be 1st contact. The though is the leading edge wears faster so if the large pistons are last contact they will apply more force at the trailing edge of the pad for more even wear.

The only reason I started watching this page was because of the original turbo 2.3L Ford in this car. I was really disappointed when you took that out and went with the diesel. I have to admit, I was wrong. That thing is badass!

Hey guys, the leading piston should be the smallest diameter one as the friction pulls the leading edge of the rotor in towards the disc and wears faster, hence a smaller diameter to apply less force there. Leading piston means the piston that the disc first moves towards.

Panda flares allow rocks to be sprayed down the side of car with sticky Michelin Cup 2 tires. The flares may need to be modified to cover the slicks before doing burn outs at the track or tape the rear quarters before doing burn outs to avoid cleaning rubber of the sides of car

My grandfather had a 240Z with a supercharged corvette motor and the side pipes back in the 80s when I was a little kid. That thing was crazy fast, it would pop the front wheels off the ground like 6 inches when you got on it. After my uncle and dad got it going, the first test run they almost crashed it because the front end came up and they lost front traction and slid into a yard just missing a huge 3 foot rock the people had as a yard decoration. That car was no joke, it had a huge blower sticking out of the hood that sounded mean. My uncle had It parked at his girls house on the main street and a drunk driver smashed into it and totaled it. My grandpa has a picture of him standing in front of it all smashed up with his fist over his eyes acting like he's crying doing the whaa whaa face lol. I always wanted one since I was a kid and yours is sick. Theres another one that Jay Leno test drives that is super sick too, I think it was a white wide bodied 240.

I don't know if you fixed it or not, but the smaller diameter piston goes on the leading edge of the pad!! if you have it the other way around you'll get really uneven pad wear. Not a huge issue for street driving but if you track it, the pads will be shot pretty quick.

Weird but great build. Diesel will assure that you get about 1 percent of the views or likes that a gas motor would hit on youtube, but I salute you. A LOT of thoughtfulness and ad hoc problem solving/engineering took place to get this to go from an idea to a real thing. Diesel is largely ignored and has seen some tremendous developments in efficiency and power and environmental friendliness...BUT it is one of those things that consumers and even skilled techs do not get presented with in availability or options. I think dropping in a diesel will prolly never be a normal person thing for most builds and that electric crate motors will hit mainstream restomods before diesel AND that it will cause diesel to not find relevance (supply-based scarcity). Clearly it works, Id like to see more but expect to see next to nothing. So, overall, builder gets my salute and appreciation for what will most likely never be seen for the talent and work he put in display here. 240zs, as long as you dont turn them into monster trucks or dune buggies, are beautiful and legendary rolling art, too, so thanks for keeping one rolling rather than parting it out/letting it rot/relegating it to the junkyard. When the time comes to sell and move to the next project, your best bet is to put it on BAT and...eloquently describe what it is. Thats the last bastion of car guys who will appreciate something like this. This is not something for JoeBob on Craigslist:)

I hate to say it but I am so jealous of your guys's Z. I've had my 240 for almost 15 years and it still looks like s***. Granite mine has burst into flames 3 times and my first Z got totaled by an old lady. All I got to do is a few interior pieces and paint it and its done... yours would probably step all over mine. My Z only make about 400tq/400ish horsepower. I have put over a hundred thousand miles on it. I had my doubts about megasquirt a long time ago. It's MS1 converted to megasquirt 2 using the v2.2 daughter card. After watching the bag over video. I've really consider doing that to my coilovers. Thanks for the awesome videos.
