I'm British and so many people say I'm so soft spoken and my Dad mocks me because there are some words I say slightly poshly and when I'm mad, I automatically censor out my own swearing by only pronouncing the first syllable then move on with what I'm saying, though I do swear normally. (my friends used to say that I'd swear so softly though). I still don't swear in front of my mum and she tells me it's okay to do it (I swear in front of my Dad because he doesn't care and I swear in front of my brother (he doesn't though I was at his age (he's almost 16 and I'm 18) and he sometimes laughs or ignores it)

I think they are trying to keep the lighthearted vibe as the usual talks in the show, and they will have to try a little harder because I think Freddie is more serious or reserved type of person.
