After watching all these clips with Claire, I gotta watch this show now. I've seen it advertised but didn't pay much attention. Same thing with Homeland when it first came out and now I've watched all 8 seasons 4 times through now haha.

Wadr, Claire Danes could not act her way out of a wet paper bag to save her life. EVERY SINGLE ROLE she plays is EXACTLY the same as the others. Like MOST "actors", she is simply playing herself in each role, saying the words, making the motions, trying to emote the emotions, the latter of which is her worst "talent". She's just attractive, has some intensity, isn't a BAD actor, and has grown up in the business, and somehow survived transitioning from a child actor to an adult actor. She's "good enough", and attractive enough, that she does well enough that most people will watch her.

The fact that you thinking her winning some "awards" actually means something, and some specious "held in high esteem" BS, rather than being the hyper-politics situation it is, and the money-based bias, which is the absolute truth and reality, says it all. That is why it is called SHOW BUSINESS.
