Kevin must have older siblings. He’s a genius at creating a controlled chaos that can only be forged in the mind of a younger sibling determined to get under “their” skin. Loved it!

I've always loved conan, but since listening to his podcast, i've realized he is so unbelievably talented at improv that i've fallen in love with his comedy all over again, he's such a legend in my stupid pointless opinion.

I enjoy Kevin's style to return questions during interviews, and seamlessly shifting between truth and jokes. I also like the humor of pretending to be serious but then being subtly off in some way when people think there is no joke happening.

Conan is a brilliant interviewer and he shines in this episode, playing the beta to Kevin Nealon's hilarious whipsaw quirky antics. Couldn't have been easy, but moreover a demonstration of Conan's strength as a host, comedian, human.

Are these actually broadcast live somewhere? I don't think they are, these are edited together after the fact.
@KevlaminTheMighty Жыл бұрын
@@gnack420 I think. And I could be very wrong, but having watched a lot of both podcast live/live-stream stuff, I guess the answer to your question is yes. They are usually broadcast live, with live cameras, then edited later. You often see " live unedited" versions later. But the camera cuts are probably multiple views edited in later for the best one. Watch a live sports game. Most of that is on the fly cuts.

This was amazing. Both of them grown men, well known, accomplished comedians, but trying to be sincere for 3 minutes broke them. Watching them try to be serious and pass up jokes and opportunities to insult each other, and laughing harder because of it, was like getting in trouble for rough-housing with your best friend at school, and while the teacher is lecturing you both on proper behavior, you’re both still trying to subtly get in the last smack of the fight without laughing, which makes it 10x harder to not laugh.

Two old friends losing it at the expense of one another, obviously surrounded with genuine love, is a beautiful event! I have 2 pals in Cleveland going back 30+ years and when we get together it is exactly the same; not sure if it's the self-deprecation or falling back on stories we have told and herd 800 times---but tears from laughter always flow. I SOOOO GET THIS "interview??"!! :)thx!
