He's not kidding about the way weed's changed. Used to be I had to scrounge around until I could find some skeezy dealer selling so-so quality overpriced buds. Now, I can walk to a store less than a mile from my house and take my pick from a couple dozen varieties of flower, a bunch of different extracts and waxes, some edibles, tinctures, vape pens... some places even sell THC-infused sodas. All of it is totally affordable. An eighth of top shelf flower is only around 20-30 bucks and often on sale for even less than that. I've seen places offering $5 grams. And every store I've been to has a laid-back friendly atmosphere. It feels like you're walking into a chill local coffee shop. Gotta love the West Coast.
