No blacks so low crime hang on let me check... wow I must by psychic
@SurflFilms5 жыл бұрын
@@ryanjones9498 there is a 70 to 80% correlation between income inequality and crime rates. While it is true that the median household income for Black households is $30,555 in america, compared to $67,865 for White households and $128,000 for Indian households (from India), it isn't necessarily their fault. The average white family that moved to america started out with much more money and opportunity than the average black family just freed from slavery, so each generation of the white family would start out with more money and opportunity than each generation of the black family. It is easier for the rich to get richer, so instead of there being a linear relationship between the two median incomes, the average white family would be more and more disproportionately wealthy compared to the average black family as time goes on, so there would be a bigger gap as time goes on. Also, why does income inequality cause poverty? Why don't the poor just get rich? All humans have the urge to climb social hierarchies, for many reasons. If you are the very bottom of one, for example by being poor, you want to climb it, because that would make you more desirable to the opposite sex and because your brain allows you to be happy more often if you are at the top. Also you would have more resources and security. But what if it is too hard to climb the hierarchy by lawful or conventional means, because of the way your society is set up? Or maybe its impossible? Then you have no choice but to turn to crime. It's not like blacks commit more crimes because their's something wrong with them, biologically or otherwise. Its because of the place they are at in our society. On average, anyone who is poor enough in our society will turn to crime, and on average anyone who is rich won't commit crimes.
