Jeffrey was a trash actor as Negan, probably was just chosen because some random chick working at AMC had a crush on him lol. He's too skinny and too old. His acting was only good in the first episode but later on it became cringe as fk. The comic version of Negan is way more badass villain looking.

Jeffrey is a great actor and I think he can play anything. Why do you call him trash? Jeffrey lost a lot of weight BEFORE TWD for a film where was playing a sick man who had tuberculosis. He lost more weight in season 9 of TWD when he was in prison after the all out war because he had to look frail. He was 50 years old when he got the role of Negan , now he's 58.I don't know how old the comic Negan was. They changed Negan's character , and I don't know if the same happens in the comics too, mainly because Andrew Lincoln left the show in season 9 and Negan had to replace Rick. This is not Jeffrey's fault, it's the writers' fault, Negan started as a monster,a tyrant and they tried to whitewash all his crimes , blaming it all on the cancer and death of his wife. This was unnecassary, his real wife played the role of his wife in TWD (and I don't know why she got this part) but this doesn't justify his brutality, he was a savage in seasons 7 and 8.
