Yeah, the leeks weren't his best work. I know him and spoke with him afterwards, he was panicking on the inside when the leeks weren't producing the sound he normally got out of them.

I couldn't believe when I saw this but Dr. Stuckenbruck was my violin teacher when I was in 6th and 7th grade! One of the most genuine and smartest teachers and men I have ever met.

And he isn't like a vegetable orchestra guy, he is a master musician and teacher who happened to use vegetables at one point to help kids learn and have fun at the same time.
