3:30 GOD, missing the Wyrmstake Cannon is so relatable. As a new Gunlance main, I ALWAYS seem to miss my Wyrmstake shots... especially because the monster always moves at the last possible second.

The thing shown in this clip is their positioning was correct but they slid onto a small incline which lowered their aim enough to make them miss. For your case it sounds like you just need a bit more practice is all.

I'm no GL master, but I love the weapon a lot and I don't really like wyrmstake. Mostly because sometimes I accidentally queue it's longass animation and I don't really see the point if you're blast dashing to pursue. If you didn't use blastdash (for whatever reason, flying is fun) I can see it as a good tool for when the monster disengages and you want to leave it with a parting gift since you might take a minute to get back over to the mon. Usually I recommend just blastdashing to the side of a monster and fullbusting when you land with the slam. You can usually queue another dash to get away if you want to or start the fullburst loop.

Monsters need to be all over the place since hunters have tons of new mobility gimmicks and flashy ultra moves I'd prefer to have a more grounded game with less bs, but this is what we're stuck with...

@@ArclinusCastoral It mostly depends on the shelling type. Normal is essentially locked to blastdash while Long and Wide are locked to guard reload & chargeshells to wyrmstakes - all due to how _abysmal_ GL's dmg output in Rise is. And for Long/Wide type whose main combo revolves around Wyrmstakes, I actually felt they were an improvement from the absolute atrocity that was Iceborne's Wyrmstake Cannon -(whoever was in charge of GL gameplay in IB deserves to get WSB shoved up their arse only for it to somehow end up on their left hand)-

@@springsago we watch all of them but we are forced to only take the 10% best clips to make sure people actually care to watch. Also we cannot always use clips which are very similar to what we have already seen many times. So naturally that makes it hard to get featured. But every great clip which we can feature will end up in the video! We do our best, sorry if it hasn't worked out for you guys yet, really...

So if nothing maybe at least try to update and add that information into your videos/requests since it is important to get things straight, you dont play lottery without knowing that you might get addicted since you are told before as an example.

fkn not gonna bother wasting my time triyng to send a single more clip, when they never get shown in the first place. I get that not all clips can make it thru and you might get tons of clips but you can at least give information about that and not make it look like most or every epic clip or fail def. makes it thru. When i see what kind of dumb and unfunny clips sometimes get taken over those i've send in, it is just very frustrating and annoying.

What would you recommend us do instead? We watch every single commission but we are foced to only take the best 10% clips to make sure people actually care to watch. Quality of clips is subjective but that's why two people in the team watch over these. We try out best, sorry if it hasnt worked out for you yet. Please let us know what you would recommend to do, in order to avoid such frustration!

@@TeamDarkside Well firstly thanks for the reply, shows that you actually care about your viewers opinions and also sorry if my commend was a little too harsh. I think you guys are doing a good job overall with your content, however there is always room for improvement in which i dont want to interfere too much other than giving you a opinion. When it comes down to highlights especially ones that you've requested yourself, you should in my opinion put your priorities in giving as many people as possible a chance to be featured since those give up their time and effort to be from help to you. I dont see your videos getting watched less based on the clips you take. If for any reason you feel that way it could mean that you think people have too high expectations because of what you've posted in the past but thats not the case simply because people like to watch what they enjoy and if you know that somebody enjoys your work you shouldnt worry about such things. If the views really do drop that could rather mean that people need more variety or more catchy impressions.
