I have a 2022 StarCraft Storm DC 16.5 with a 90 Merc. This boat is awesome. Adjustable seat and tilt, helps out the big belly. I also have the same trolling motor and a helix 10. I have no complaints on the boat. Nice and wide in the back to hold two bigger people and the main deck is very stable. The full windshield keeps spray off the driver and passenger. Very nice boat , great layout! Congratulations! I had a 22 foot 1995 Starcraft Islander with a V6. Lots of room but only good for anchored fishing. Sold and bought a Yarcraft 17ft dual console, 90 hp, 80 lb thrust Terrova. Very nice dry ride. Always appreciate your in depth videos !

I have a 2023 188DCPro (18' 11") my last trip in heavy chop with white caps i was at 48.5 mph with a 23p at 5500 rpms. Also tested it with 4 blade 25p at 5000 rpms 47 mph. My 21p came today which should be around 5800 rpms or so and hoping to hit 50 mph. These boats ride great in rough water and turn on a dime. Glad to see your happy with yours as i am with mine.

How wide is this with the trailer fenders. Wondering if it's would fit in my 9ft wide garage? Can't find anywhere on the internet saying the total width of the 186 with trailer.

I will look in the catalog and see what it lists as, but my driveway entrance is only about 9' 2" and it fits, so I believe it would just fit in 9 foot opening. I believe it's 106 inches including trailer fenders.

U differently didn't go wrong with that great buy. aluminum boats are the only way to go .. very nice boat love it .I have seen a lot of StarCraft boat s fr the 70s still on the water. I think smoker craft and StarCraft are made by the same Co...

I've had a few glass boats, but aluminum is much lower maintenance.

@@TeamJesusOutdoors I agree with you on that last fiberglass boat I had was really heavy hard to pull I had to change my radiator in my truck to 4 core hp radiator just to pull the boat on long trips if not my truck would slowly start to overheat.. seem like I had to wax it almost everytime I went fishing if not the fiberglass would stick in my arms and hands.. hope u have a chance to get out this weekend on some walleye. Good luck fishing

The problem with the StarCraft boats is that when you get in the rain or splash water in the boat the storage lids leak because they don’t have any gutters and then they don’t dry out and gat mold

Yes the 2015 starcraft superfisherman is basically the same layout you have , if your fully loaded with fuel and people your not hitting 50, I do have the yamaha 150f. We have fished manistee every August, erie and the river in the spring . I have been in some rough water and stayed relatively dry and felt safe , the hull is foam filled, wasn't sure if you new that ! Great reports my friend and God bless you and your family!

Full throttle with good water and if you get on the trim I bet you will be pushing 50 MPH

I really feel like the 150 is perfect. It's rated for a 200, but the 150 performs great! Great whole shot, great top end.
