I honestly think TL played their cards as best as they could at Worlds and just got outclassed, listening to their draft processes helps me see that they got what they wanted but just couldn't execute on it. Good luck to them next year, hopefully DL can finally get out of groups at Worlds.

For me they did not play there best. I know they can win I believe that, but they are not mentally ready I guess. Like, they are so afraid to make mistakes that they can get experience from and they need to work on there dragon positioning. They like to sell their whole team for a single dragon ( the reason they lost to damwon on round 2). And lastly, they are more afraid of losing rather than wanting to win. It's just their mentality

They got what they wanted but their comps were just bad, watching them explain how they got counter matchups so its fine made my head hurt, the counter match-ups have no effect whatsoever its about team comps v team comps, their team comp vs IG was win 15-20 mins or bust that kind of comp on the world stage is super impossible to execute against top teams. Olaf specifically had no place in that last game.

I hope NA gets better tbh, even though I meme them because they never make it out of groups and they always look like they are not capable for international competition but I think it would also be better for my region which is EU because EU and NA like to draft a lot and I also think that NA and EU(especially EU rn) have the potential to be better than the LCK and the LPL.

I gotta be honest. Everyone has been saying how ALL of the worlds teams were so strong, and anyone had a chance to take it; but it really says a lot about DL's personality when he says "I didn't feel like any team was super great". He knows TL's close to their skill level, regardless of their performance this year. He also knows he can continue to get better and I think any pro with that mindset has a practically non-existent skill ceiling. I'm so excited for the 2020 season!

After Xmithie said the more stressed we are the less we trust each other. I think thats a huge difference between TL and G2. It seems like G2 even when they are behind or tilted or whatever, they always trust each others calls. I know this TL roster can get there too. They need to work on that teamwork next season and they'll look like a different team whether they are beating IG or losing to bottom tier teams.

What I saw all year but hoped that TL would be able to overcome was the stress factor of comp LoL. I know that G2 didn't win but even when they lost they left the stage laughing because at the end of the day what you guys do is like a living fantasy to the rest of us. Train hard, play hard, but also laugh hard. That's so much easier said than done but additionally if that IS happening we want to see it as fans as well. The G2 model works, the flame they've received has been nothing close to what you have received and they arguably choked one of their easiest Bo5's in the whole tournament. We love watching you guys do what you do, all the fans who care about you guys want to see you all enjoying yourselves even when it's a lost series or a lost game. Laugh because before you know it you'll be in your 40's and unable to compete, make happy memories alongside your winning ones. Build friendships that will extended past a "split" or a "season". Most importantly win worlds damn it! ;P

This Squad has the potential to win internationally, they just need more time with each other. Xmithie needs to step up his game if he's gonna try to keep up with the top junglers like Tian, Jankos and Clid; Jensen needs to work on being tilt proof if he's gonna face midlaners like caps and doinb; DLift, Core and impact seems to be doing well but they need to improve not just as players, but working together as a team. G2 built the greatest team Europe has ever seen and one of the best in the entire world. With more time, practice and dedication, TL can show the world that they have what it takes to be the best in the world. Show us what you can do.

Thanks for the video. It was very well put together encompassing the struggles and success in a positive manner. If I can offer a suggestion and welcome to correct me as I'm only judging from limited information, I think it is important to let both parties speak (referring to Coach Cain's 1 on 1 discussion with Jensen backstage) their side even though you may not want to hear it. It helps the other party not feel singled out and may provide valuable information. This is speaking from experience being on both ends.

It's that it comes down to 1 tournament each year. If league wasn't franchised and there would be international tournaments held left and right, you guys could find your footing and consistency. TL, you guys did your best! It is true that TL does need deeper champ pools, if you see LPL, LCK and even LEC teams, their champ pool is immense and any meta that looks good can pop off. But, overall TL with the acquisitions with Jensen and CoreJJ, they won it in Spring and Summer in the LCS. Also, got out of groups internationally in MSI, went to the Finals but lost but still reached the Finals and beat the iG the defending champions. People say now and there are rumors saying Broxah might come in and Jake "Xmithie" will leave. Impact, Jensen, Doublelift, CoreJJ will stay next year. I think we should use spring split to try out new champs/strats every game. Don’t worry about the win or loss, try to get top 6 so we qualify for knockout stage and msi. There’s little to no competition in NA. 5th championship in a row sounds nice but winning worlds sounds way better. Another thing is, we need to change out playstyle. Our playstyle is so hard that if a small thing goes wrong, it just snowballs up so much and having good macro isn’t enough to make us dominant. #TLWORLDS2020CHAMPIONS!!!

I feel like Jensen is the most blamed player in the world by the community. His first game: Great. His LB was a big reason they beat DWG. His second game: His Akali wasn't the issue. Rookie snowballed in the game and was able to grab a lot of cs. He had a huge lead over Jensen that had nothing to do with Jensen on an individual level. His third game: Obviously bad. But I mostly would say bad 'cause he had at least 1 bad death where he just got caught by Nautilus. People can say more than 1 but I felt him getting close to solo killing Rumble only to get Q'd by Naut and dying is a risk you're supposed to be willing to take. My main issue was his final death. That being said people totally ignored that every single team fight Rumble pressed R on Jensen and Qiyana would flank and aim Jensen. And even then when Xmithie stole baron he had 1 more death than Jensen. I feel yes Jensen sucked 'cause of a couple moments but blaming every death on him and ignoring Rumble/Qiyana aiming him every single team fight is a bit lame to me. I feel that Ori game alone made people blame TL performance at Worlds solely on Jensen. His fourth game: His Anivia wasn't the issue. They even said this shit worked for them normally. But the dragon call was bad. No matter what, DL said if they played it well, it would be fine. But they started baron with not everyone there and they entered the pit. DL played that terribly and not everyone from TL was there. His fifth game: Another good LB game from him, no real issue with his play. So atm we have the Orianna game that was actually bad but he was heavily targeted by the enemy that game in every single fight. Especially since DL was Xayah and can just press R, it makes it even more normal that a team with Rumble, Qiyana and Sylas aims the Orianna with no escape. His sixth and last game: Okay, he got solo killed. That lane was pretty damn competitive and Jensen even made Rookie have very little hp left in that lane at one point. But then Rookie just flash engages on a 50% hp LB and solo kills Jensen. I can't fault him much for that, Qiyana was just a really fucking strong pick and I don't get how that goes through. AHQ Qiyana even did great vs them, Damonte did as well. Seems strange to not understand they suck against it. That being said, after the FB I will say Jensen played the best out of the team. Yeah Rookie was great and snowballed that pick but Jensen was aggressive the entire game, wasn't scared. But I guess getting solo killed by a Qiyana just means you suck apparently. So in conclusion to me he had 1 really bad Orianna game the rest I'd argue is just them as a team not being that good. His LB was clearly good, the Anivia wasn't his fault, they lost at a bad dragon call, his Akali wasn't the issue, Rookie snowballed early and got all the farm. He could have played the Akali better for sure but if TL as a team played it better, Akali can also do more. Just look at players like Bjergsen who wait for enemy to get low because of his team and then he goes in to clean. Jensen on the other hand tried to make his own moves like you saw in this clip where he tried to kill the jungler. He said he missed R which technically he did but the jungler flashed.

From my perspective: - Against Damwon, bad calls were the issue. The strategy was good, the execution, however, not so much - Against IG, good draft, you guys played well, but it's just their individual skill is better. No offense, but it's a good reminder. Nothing's wrong with your play, it's simply because they're better.

The dragon was a good call, I don't see anyone talking about this but I think the reason the fight was lost was because Jensen fucked his recall timing and let the wave push into him, instead of giving the priority over and using TP to get into the fight he used it to go to lane and push the wave in, at that point Rookie was ready at dragon and they fought 4v4 and lost. If Jensen used his TP better it and timed his back properly it would have been a way different story. I'm not saying it's only Jensen's fault but he should have had the priority in the lane match up he was in.

mustaqim hadi strategy is clearly the coaching staff. There will be times in the game when the plan or the strategy goes out the window or it being countered and someone has to be the in game leader and make the calls or plays in this case it’s DL and Jensen clearly thinks the opposite DL but no one wants to be the contrarian and say “no the call is wrong”. This is were a strong leader who the team trust ,needs to not only keep the coach’s strategy in game, but also make the calls in team fighting or objectives. I’ve never been a fan of ADC shot calling. I thought CoreJJ was the shot caller.

Seraphim that aspect is acceptable. What isn’t is actually practicing vlad vs aatrox thinking that its a good matchup. They months to think about matchups. And that was the conclusion they came up with??

I will continue to support Team Liquid in all they do, but constructive criticism is what is needed. DL said it right in the interviews hes had in which he states that "Nobody will ever feel as bad as the people playing the game" And that shit is real. My only hope is that they take this year in stride and finally realize that their strategies are great for NA, and absolutely dog shit for International. They lost half their games to pick/ban phase, not necessarily execution of game play. This paragraph is already too long so I'll just leave it at this. I believe in you, TL. Keep up the great work, here's to a better season next year. Kappa.

i love this team, sucks that they traded jake but with broxah, i guess having an even more vocal jungler can hopefully covered some of the calls double make. im not saying double make bad calls but when you watch some of the pro views, its really hard to win fights when the AD calling and the front line is not in the position to set up engage or flank. i know i sound like a reddit analyst but look at some of the bad teamfights: mid was pushed in top was pushed in, the only lane priority was bot.

Looking back at this roster and even the previous one, this team was so easy to just be passionate about. You had Cain and Dodo who you knew were just so intelligent about the game and you knew each player was just so damn good individually and that you were at least getting a good representation of NA and what the region has to offer every single tournament. Now I just feel like TL turned into a very middle of the road team that doesn't really know what it is. I will always love TL, but I'm just not sure they worth putting the time and passion into when they just continue to bench and get rid of their best players that made them what they are.
