Yes I know im late. I'm a bronze player, I know 2 map names correlated with their looks (haven and fracture) but I know where to plant and rush for a bunch of maps. tbh, I think I have the game sense of an iron or smth but my aim just sucks too much. (I play CoD so the bullet spread just breaks my brain, like why tf is my bullet coming out of the barrel at a 45 degree angle compared to the way the gun is facing)

“She knew about the duelist role too much” bruh I’ve been stuck in iron for like 2 or 3 months and most people in my lobbies understand that controllers slice up a site to assist their duelists in entering and taking space while another player lurks to put pressure on the site from a different point. That is basic knowledge that feels like a prerequisite to even starting up your first ranked game

yeah they are tone deaf, just because you are a low rank doesnt mean you don't have game knowledge. I'm bronze 1 and my problem is my reaction time and aim, not cuz I'm dumb and don't know what dPI is or duelist/controllers.

@@caitlinhammons2437 if you have enough game sense you can get out of bronze lmao, if you have good game sense you have good cross hair placement, good positioning, good utility. You will be in favourable positions to win gunfights even if you're aim is bad. You are claiming to have good game knowledge but I find it hard to believe you can have good game knowledge and not be able to get out of bronze.

Yeah the easiest way for them to find out would just be make them do a shooting test in the range. Bronze players generally know how to play strategically, but their aim and mechanics arent good

as hardstuck bronze I can say: I do aimlabs, I know the location names, callouts, entrying, lurking, and off angles. I hold multiple angles, slice the pie, use agents in their proper roles properly, and normally warm up. I know how to counter strafe and dodge flashes, I just always forget to. I just suck and I panic. A LOT.

I hate to say it Team Liquid, you guys VASTLY underestimate the game knowledge a bronze can have. I know the moment a spike is not defusable (though may not know if I hit the button just before or just after, and I don't know it when halved). I know (almost) every callout for every map and the meta comps (pro) for all of them. I watch a ton of Valorant, and I coach a high school team. All the "sus" knowledge you were harping on is stuff I know. I have trained people who were Bronze and ended Diamond, but literally just hit Silver 1 two days ago for only the second time. Two things hold me back: Consistency and Time. I spend more time studying the game than playing it. I KNOW what the right thing to do is. That does not directly translate to successfully being able to actually do it. With my time commitment to the game I just can't internalize the things I can clearly see.
