I was in college napilitan akong magaral ng English dahil mga konyo ung mga classmate ko IS kasi.. so ako lang ung nagttaagalog sa class kahit na nagrereport ako sa harap.. Nakakahiya promise mukha akong kaawa awa.. Alam mo naman yung English nakakaintindi ka naman pero hindi mo kayang sabihin. Hindi rin naman ako mahilig magsulat at magbasa ng libro. So I researched how to learn English. No. 1 techique is to have a friend who doesn't speak and don't understand your language. That is only my technique and it works 100%.

that is the most effective method of learning English but most of us ignored it. memorizing grammar and answering textbooks won't help you to speak it. I have a canadian friend in online game and he gave me tips that having a basic knowledge in grammar is enough, don't grind learning it 😂. because some of tenses are rarely used. he said that I should listen to English and watch a lot of English movies.

I just finished my internship as a practice teacher today , I am an english major and i can say that it is really hard to speak english in a spontaneous way , before i had my internship i thought that i am already competent and knowledgeable about the english language , but then i realize na marami pa kong kakaining bigas, it is just so hard to express yourself specially if you have to do it without any use of any tagalog words,that's why i am looking forward to humble myself to learn more.
@simone2225 жыл бұрын
Hi. I just would like to share the tips which worked for me. Some brief backstory, Kapampangan is the first language I learned to speak followed by Tagalog, English, Japanese, and French. At home, Kapampangan is the language I use in conversing with loved ones. Before my young son learned how to speak English, I first made sure that he knows Kapampangan and Tagalog by heart as it is my firm belief that you can master any foreign language once you've fully mastered your own. Currently, he is interested in learning some Mandarin and Cantonese because he wants to impress his godmother (my pretty Hong Kongese friend). As for me, I have been learning Greek and Bulgarian, but it has been difficult over the past years due to time constraints and other pressing circumstances. I learned Tagalog mainly by watching television shows. By some happy happenstance, at age 4, I became playmates with children next-door (house next-door was for lease back then) whose parent/s is/are nationals of foreign countries. These children only conversed in English and that was my first introduction to and the beginning of my fascination with the English language. To communicate effectively with them, I read and recited daily this old picture dictionary with sample sentences. Eventually, my English skills were further honed as I began schooling. I think I became fluent at around age 9. From elementary up to high school, constant verbal intelligence tests were administered to me. Take advantage of every opportunity to practice communicating effectively by reading English works, writing in English, and speaking in English. Make the dictionary, thesaurus, and book of idioms and proverbs your close friends. Needless to say, you have to learn the rules of grammar by heart. Memorizing the rules on subject-verb agreement at a young age helped me a lot. Passion and joy are also essential in learning English or other foreign language (as with other endeavors). And, as much as possible, become immersed in an environment wherein you have to regularly speak in English (or other foreign language for that matter). All the best in your journey towards becoming fluent in the English language!

Ako naman dalawa na professional license ko both need ng English dahil nagaaral kami ng batas. 10 years na akong mahilig magbasa ng mga self-help book pero until now hirap talaga ako mag salita mag English and still improving. Simula kasi noon bata ako hangang nag benata di ako mahilig mag sulat at magbasa at sa kalagitnaan ngsa collage asa lang ako sa kodiko pagdating ng exam o quiz. Pero awa ng Dios naka-pasa ako sa Architecture and Environmental Planning PRC licensure exam. Yung boss ko nga pala tiga Finland kaya mas madali lang makipag usap ng English. Thank you Ma'am for this piece of advice.

One of my mentors taught me to watch Hollywood movies. Repeat until I was able to imitate the expressions and idioms used by the actors. After a few repetition watch the movie with subtitle and read through it. Based from experience, well it helped me a lot. Thanks for this content you remind me of someone I adore. Godbless

Since I was in high school, I'm not totally aware that you'll be able to learn english by your own without any help of everyone, meron naman kaming mga teachers that time pero I believe it will start from yourself. "No one can help you and lift you It's always youself." One thing I realized before.. When I am going to the next chapter which is my college life, I felt like I don't have any choice to do with it immediately!!! HAHAHA that's funny! I need to practice my speaking and to gain more knowledge in terms of my vocabulary and other right words and such thing... you know coach there's pressure inside of me na nag mo-motivate sa'kin until now "we need to pursue your dreams" "my parents should make them proud" that kind of voice na naririnig ko sa tenga ko HAHAHAHA So now I'm already done watching your video and I am the one who feel like greatful na napanood ko 'tong video mo. It's very informative from me because I'm a college and taking BS Tourism right now, napaka helpful sa'kin coach lyqa! Thank you so much! :)

First TIP:To judgemental Filipinos, Do not bash those who are trying to speak the English language, they are trying to use what they have learned so stop Criticizing and says "Mali mali grammar mo nagsasalita ka pa ng English?" 2nd: If you correct their grammar be kind not laugh at them. Encourage them to read more and watch English movies and etc. 3rd Even native English speakers does not speak and write perfect English, so don't be shy to speak.
