Ofc don't use it unless you're sure and it's not even that important, 1st and 2nd skills are enough) In a loosing scenario he's probably one of the best mages in terms of clearing lanes and hold until it's late game. About ling, fanny and Lance, well it's kinda your fault if you pick a mage like gord against such agile heroes but again building one or two defence items won't restrict his DMG by a lot unlike other mages. I myself don't play gord neither i have any time to rank up but I've seen pro players playing him in high elos and i can say he's always underestimated there, sure He's not the best and there are better options than him for the mid lane but labelling him as "trash" is over.

with assasin/mm meta back and the tanky meta not being as common I've actually started playing 40% CD Eudora in mythic and it works pretty well. I replace genius wand with fleeting time to be able to one shot squishy without magic armor but still enough against those who do build it so my mm can finish them off. So basically early to mid game is normal Eudora camp bush while in late game I make sure my mm has the time of their life with no one being able to get to mm. In other words I play support Eudora as the anti flank with low CD ult, stun, and damage and it works.

Build and emblem is generic burst mage but genius wand is replaced by fleeting time and boots are the cd boots. I still use the max damage build when there aren’t any squishy flankers. I just use fleeting time for that 10 sec ult to use right after onto enemy initiator to let team trample the backline or another high priority target if possible to win team fights. Another thing I do is if it’s just the mm in gold lane for both sides is wave 1 gank (after I clear mid for lvl2). This forces enemy mm to be low if they have escape spell or is a first blood if it’s something like inspire Melissa. Edit: wave 1 gank is situational like if enemy mage is fast clear mage like valir or lylia and then go to bush on gold side, or enemies put pressure on ally jg or if ally mm fast clears their minions. Since it only works against passive early game and if you sneak to gold without being seen and enemy mm is playing near mid. Also see commet below about genius wand beating holy crystal in damage meaning slight change in build.

@@hesoyam3433 Her core items are Lightniging truc and Clock of destiny which Lighning truc gives more damage than genius wand unless they build athena shield first which no one does. After testing what you said it does seem that Genius wand does slightly more damage than holy crystal or blood wings (tested with Lightning truc, pierce boots, and full stack clock of destiny) so yes you win I'll replace holy crystal or blood wings with genius wand. Still doesn't make it a core item though since the change in damage is marginal of 100-200 damage compared to holy crystal. im guessing you tested this against damage bots which does show genius wand beats lightning truc but you need to know every hero has natural magic def so test combo against jg creep and you'll see Lightning truc does more damage beating it by around 300-500 damage (full stack clock of destiny).

with jungler tank , non-meta heroes can little bit shine and we can see gord being used more often in pro scene. but i think non-meta damage focus fighter liked zilong, dyroth and even alucard could be good to counter this kind of jungler tank+dps mage.

Well, your positioning could be better in your first match. At 5:28 we can see Zilong pushing mid, at 5:30 we can see you choosing to stun Xavier because both Fredrinn and Hilda, albeit low HP, already had Leomord, and Diggie isn't a big problem really so he retreated, at 5:34 you chose to chase Xavier without any frontline, well "in front of you". We could see Fredrinn was low and even Hilda, mini map was showing they were going back to base but at 5:38 Fredrinn was unlucky and got sniped by Xavier. But yeah, all this time, Zilong was still at mid and visible from 5:28 til your death at 5:40. Not saying it was your fault that you lost the first match but you could've made better choices. I'm a big fan of your analyzation and in-game decision making skills but IDK Beto, this is how I see it 🤷 Feel free to correct me if you notice anything else UwU Great game otherwise!
