If it's one tip I learned from all air is just reavers can be destroyed early on costing too much power. Most mass air has to kill one reaver or wolverine and most firepower is gone overtime. But core infantry upgraded means air has to kill each squad member instead of the reavers. Even if air targets them the infantry will take out much air before they can do real damage. I've beaten way more games since because of simple grunts lolol gotta love banished and their greater number.
