I use to rely heavily on Summoner of Illusions or Summoning Blue-Eyes Ultimate. Fusion Armament makes it SOOOO much smoother! I get it out quite often(Twice today). I beat a Tearlament and Kashtira deck with Blue-Eyes Shining today. Shining is a headache when you get it on the field because a lot of things target, so it's negate city all day.

Hey Sam, a tip for later, you can before you go into romulus, you can activate chaos space and return the white dragon wyverbuster to deck to draw a card, then u can go to romulus with striker and black dragon collapserpent, that way you can chain 1 romulus and chain 2 black dragon to add the white dragon again, that way, you avoid a potential ash for the dragon ravine and since u can't summon the white dragon again, you can discard it with ravine

Shining Dragon definitely needs a retrain. Maybe have his effect be “must first be special summoned (from your hand) by tributing one “Blue-Eyes” fusion monster. Unaffected by your opponent’s card effects. All dragon-type monsters you control gain 500 attack for each dragon in your graveyard.” And finally for his anime effect: “you can tribute this card you control; make your opponent tribute one monster they control of your choice.” This way, it could be an actual boss monster.

Blue-Eyes is a simple deck to learn and play, which is what helps new players get into the game. It's also one of the few boss monsters that comes from the Main Deck rather than the Extra Deck, and doesn't need a 15-minute combo to get onto the field. Despite not actually being meta, the competitive players are forced to take it seriously and expend resources to deal with it, because just one Blue-Eyes destroys almost half the LP in one direct attack - and the Main Deck is loaded with them.

Temple of Kings and Mystical Beast of Serket, or Waking The Dragon. Auto summon Ultimate without even having a single regular Blue-Eyes in the deck. It's pretty easy to bait an opponent into destroying Waking. Gold Sarcophagus or DD Capsule to get Shining into the hand.

I actually main BE:SD in master duel and one of my favorite ways to get him out is using Fists of Unrivaled Tenyi. If you dont know what it does, its 2nd effect is what matters; "if this set card you control is destroyed by your oppenent's card effct: you can special summon 1 non-effect monster from your extra deck" I love using it to bait out something that can destroy it like MST or feather Duster to then get ultimate on the field asap. also another good strat is running grass is greener in a 50+ deck bc it will allow you to shrink down to their 40 card deck and USUALLY when that happens you get all the effects of the blue eyes stones. And also a lot of the time cards that are sent to the GY in a BE deck are things you WANT to be in there especially with dragon's mirror, spirit of white, jet dragon, and deep eyes. its actually a really solid way to feel like you are playing old school YGO mixed with a fast pace-ness of new school YGO.

I find having Deep Eyes in hand is always the safest bets for any opponents outs that they may have late in the duel and it's unexpected, try using it in some future vid + DNA surgery for extra burn

Sadly Deep Eyes isn't as easy to search for in a Blue Eyes deck as it doesn't list Blue Eyes White Dragon in it's text nor is it a 3000 attack/2500 defence monster. Also any monster negate makes it useless on the field. Jet Dragon is just a better version of Deep Eyes.

Couldn't "Summoner of Illusions" also get an Ultimate out pretty quick? It's a really old flip monster whose flip effect allows you to sacrifice a monster to summon a fusion monster from your extra deck (destroyed during the end phase). A little clunky, and most decent fusion monsters don't like being special summoned by other means, but I had a lot of fun using it with some other old flip monsters like Penguin Soldier and Magician of Faith with Ghostrick Doll to flip them back face down. Other fun tech cards to use with SOL include "Baroid the Ultimate Battle Machine" and "Bloom Diva the Melodious Chior" (whose immunity to destruction effects extends to SOL's effect to destroy the summoned monster in the end phase).

It would be great to have some support cards that ignore the summoning conditions for blue eyes shining dragon. Maybe by banishing 3 blue eyes from your graveyard allows you to summon shining dragon from your deck. He’s be summoned with lower attack but a good trade off to get him on the field.

I've always wished they would add a Red Eyes/Blue eyes Ritual and fusion along with support to combine the 2 Dragon Arc-Types into one. The artwork of a fusion between Red eyes and Blue Eyes would be sick. An idea for that would Blue Eyes Black dragon (2 blue eyes + 1 red eyes) Red Eyes White Dragon(2 Red Eyes+ 1 Blue eyes) and a ritual that requires(1 Blue Eyes + 1 Red Eyes). Mate, that seems easy as hell to summon. Use Fists of the the Unrivalled Tenyi. SO many decks out there can and usually do destroy backrow cards, and when its destroyed, you can free summon ANY non-effect fusion monster. And whats a non-effect fusion monster? Blue Eyes Ultimate, and 9/10 whenever i get it out, it STAYS on the field. Next turn, assuming you have Shining Dragón in hand, pop, there it goes. Plus is also just a nice effect negate card assuming you have a non-effect on the field, which, in a BEWD deck, is very easily done. No need for long winded, convoluted fusion summoning chains.

I know it's awesome card but as most of the good monsters with great effects, they still have a weakness where opponents can take advantage in sam's video just as an example : when he used trade card, ash would stopped his combo & end up losing or start again IF his opponent would pass him & give away their turn in many situations like this we just think about is it worth it to do or play such cards or not, sam just got lucky & won the duel he just did what ppl mostly want to see & we all feel greatfull (thank you very much Sam) for all your amazing videos but I don't recommend such risk for most people who play md

I just dueled my friend in person, and I was able to pull off summoning Blue Eyes Shining Dragon, Blue Eyes Chaos Max Dragon, and resummoning Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon in the same turn. Won the duel with Blue Eyes Shining Dragon that turn. 😉 Summoner of Illusions is a nice way to cheese around 3 Blue eyes white dragons to bring out ultimate. Pair that with Refusion and you're unstoppable.

heres an easier way to get it out, play 3 waking the dragon and play alot of backrow so it will entice them to pop it and ggs. i use that strat for getting out ultimate falcon. over 3000 atk and unaffected. only higher attack or a kaiju can get rid of it.
