The reason why cyber dragons were always my favourite archetype and always will be is their incredible versatility and adaptability. They might never be top tier, but they will always have good win rate what ever the current meta is.

The only problem if you chain Vier with Core you no longer make it a machine dup target, since Viers effect is to boost every "Cyber Dragon" you control by 500ATK/DEF

Yeah I play one precisely because it conflicts with machine dupe. It's a great card to protect against ash, but you can't make Nova so it's only useful for link summoning.

It still works if machine DUP resolves. Once the cyber dragons are summoned you can chain to them

This isn’t an issue, because you can just summon vier AFTER the dupe. You guys have played cyber dragons before, right? This isn’t a problem at all unless you dont know what you’re doing. That said, I still wouldn’t usually use more than 1 vier..but this deck is supposed to be a little different anyway

@@parkourguyyy Vier is a good card, but not at 3. Having two of them in hand is pretty bad. You never want to normal summon Vier. Chain blocking Core can be good. But Vier makes the small Cyber Dragons like Core no more a target for Machine Dup, cause it needs a monster with less then 500 ATK or so. So having Core, Machine Dup and Vier makes you not want to use Viers effect.

Triple vier is very bricky. All of the hand traps work well but if you draw too many of them you're kind of screwed as well. I feel like the deck does better when maining jizikurus to out boards and contact fuse. Also, going second - lightning storms, dark ruler? Those are the much better options, I think.

I think Dark Ruler No More should be in every blind second list with Adamancipator in the format as usually 1 hand trap is not enough.

Cyber dragon can board break and otk through several interruptions. Standard blowout hand traps like nibiru/ash/imperm are much more effective than using high cost board breaker cards such as dark ruler no more or evenly matched. Cyber dragon loses much more by giving up the otk than it does getting a few cards negated.

Please note, that Cyber Dragon Vier makes Core and Nachster not target able by Machine Duplication. Machine Duplication requires you to target a machine monster you control with 500 or less ATK (not original atk) and Vier adds 500 atk onto all "Cyber Dragon" you control. Just to point out a minor conflict to watch out for. I still like both cards (though not as many Vier as this usually)

I personally run 2 cyber repair plants and 2 cyber emergencies because 3 of either/or does get cloggy sometimes and can stop me from playing much at all. You need at least 2 cyber repair plants to search out your machine Kaiju, electromagnetic turtle (in emergency situations) and your techy light machine monsters like Gizmek (actually really good for combo plays) because sometimes you need another normal summon and a level 5 monster instead of a level 2 for some Novas.

Predaplant Verte Anaconda does not search anything, is does not search Overload Fusion or Cyberload Fusion. It SENDS the card to the graveyard and the Verte Anaconda becomes that card you send toy the Graveyard

All these hate comments but you all are ignoring its basically as pure as can be. It's true to the nature of what the cyber dragon strategy is and it does what it sets out to do really well. Thank you for not just dumping in a bunch of cards like linkross or fiber or union hanger. This deck isn't some brick combo that goes off 6 out of 10 duels. It does what it set out to do 10/10 duels.

Tech in "Arcjet Lightcrafter" and "Infinitrack Earthslicer"... it can be searched with 12 of my cards in my deck (searching for searchers) and if you are relying on a top deck... you have over a 25% chance of bringing out this dude. 3100 atk, 1 card summon, can destroy 2-3 cards with its effect and you can summon it back on the field by destroying 1 link machine monster (in defence position.... but still though...) GOOD cards

Joseph Cornelio I literally went on TCGplayer last night trying to build a cyber dragon deck but I decided against it then I saw this and I’m like screw it im buying myself a cyber dragon deck I got all of the cards here except for imperm because $25 a piece is not affordable to me but I replaced them with forbidden chalice which might actually be as good as imperm if you go first because even if your opponent gets a monster out then there’s still a chance for an otk especially if you play limiter removal which I am because I feel like levianeer is a brick in your starting hand since you don’t start with any monsters in the graveyard
