@@Austin-l1j Sam makes the wheels, and the wheels periodically get updated. I agree with SeeReax that this is not an archetype, man. Resonator RDA is, for sure it is. But Bystial has no business being in this deck. Bystial is a different archetype from Resonator RDA. Sam put it on the wheel because he's used this deck before and really liked it, and killed the idea of the series, which is "Pure Archetype"

It has nothing to do with RDA, and should have been considered staples if it was to be added. The whole point of the Wheel is to play the deck in its purest form. Resonator/RDA is its own very separate and established archetype.

Maybe the creator of the wheel didnt realize how little kash has, and how much the entire resonator/archfiend archetype(that doesnt need bystials at all) could do on its own. Adding bystials, is like adding dimension shifter and banish support to kashtira, except that would actually make sense in kash's banishing theme, unlike adding random free summons to resonator just cuz "big dragon".

They also are their own mini archetype aswell. That's why you can put them in almost any deck and they function like staples outside of stun decks and Time Tearing Morganite players.

Fiendish Chain is related to RDA, look up Fiendish Golem. That card mentions both RDA and Fiendish Chain. Though Sam never had Fiendish Golem in his list.

This episode was frustrating to watch because they weren't following the rules. I understand in certain circumstances that some decks will need one card (or two) that's unrelated to the archetype, monster type, attribute, etc or otherwise, it won't function properly. Fiendish Chain was literally a free staple, but in other episodes, it was made a huge deal when cards were added that weren't extremely broken or too OP. I get it. Keeping up with Kashtira is impossible. I'm watching Seereax make these plays and I'm literally like "What the hell was Konami thinking when they made these cards, especially Arise Heart". Obviously, there are decks that perform way better than others, so it makes no sense to add Fiendish Chain when Seereax can be in the same predicament as Sam as the S+ tier series progresses. lol this was long-winded, but I would like to see the decks played as pure as possible. If Archfiends can't keep up with Kashtira without Fiendish Chain, then it is what it is. I find it ridiculous that Bystials is a whole other archetype added to create this super archetype in addition to the Fiendish Chain (like damn it's a bit imbalanced). To wrap this up, these uneven matchups will happen to both Sam and Seereax, so exceptions (or extra additions, especially when they enter staple territory), shouldn't be made.

Fiendish chain is atleast arguably related/a part of the red archfiend deck (see fiendish golem). The bystial being fused with red archfiend though is ridiculous. Sure sam technically didnt break the rules in the battle but theres no reason those two archtypes shouldve ever been put together. Wasn't the whole point of the series to play the decks pure?
