Why is that a tie if two judges vote draw and one votes for a dancer? Shouldn't whoever was voted for go through?

● Rules： * HOUSE / WAACKING / LOCKING / HIP-HOP/ POPPING 1 ON 1 FIRST PHRASE AUDITION (1) After registration we will be drawing, the draw will be split into A, B, C three sections, (ex: A1, A2, A3.., B1, B2, B3.., C1, C2, C3…) (2) During the audition, 3 at a time each competitor does a 30 second solo. (ex: A1,B1,C1 together, A2, B2, C2 together) (3) Top 10 will be selected from A, B, C each section to enter the Top 30 audition. SECOND PHRASE AUDITON (1) 30 competitors each have a one time 30 second solo (2) The three judges will pick out the best 16 to enter the battle. THIRD PHRASE BATTLE (1) During the battle, each competitor does a 60 second solo, and the three judges will decide who wins. (2) Top 16 and 8, each battle has 1 round, Semi-final and finals each battle has 2 rounds. (3) If a tie-breaker is needed in the battle, the order of entering the battle switches. (4) In a tie-breaker, the judges should only judge according to the performance of the tie-breaker round. PS: All judges and competitors should specially notice the (4) rule

majority vote is the outcome. If 2 say its a tie then their decision is a tie. nothing wrong with that logic. Great event, great organizers.

DanielKeithMorrison in most events two draws with a vote means that person goes through, that’s all there is to it. Nothing to do with the logic and wasn’t bashing the event at all it’s just consistently.

consistently among whom? The event or events. This even does it this way and other events do it the other way. In toronto most of our events lately do it the same way as this event. So yes that's their logic, the majority says tie then its a tie. It makes sense just like two ties are considered "non vote" and a point is a point. I get that way too, but its not the taste for some.
