Hello dude! Recently I have been watching a couple of your videos and it got me interested in karting in general, so thank you for influencing me into this wonderful motorsport scene that we both love. But anyways, I was just wondering for how long have you been karting for, what's your goal (for exemple formula V or formula ford or something like that) and if it's that expensive to enter competetive karting or not (assuming you have experience with that) Cheers mate! Will be waiting for your answer!

Thanks for the kind words. I go karting about 4-5 times a year for maybe the last 8 years. I've only ever done it competetively once in a 10 race series at Three sisters circuit, myself and my friend were the only 2 amatuers and the rest were all pro Karters, we managed to place in the top 3 on a couple of races when it was damp or raining but we're both around 6'7" and over 15 stone so when it was dry we didn't have a chance against the people that were half our weight but we still really enjoyed it. I'm just far to big to make any progress with karting properly, i just go because i enjoy it now and it's a cheap way to get a bit of experience between track days. I'm hoping to enter my Micra into a race series next year called tin tops and progress from there where weight is slightly less of a factor 😂 Ideally i'd love to be doing something like Brit car or Nurburg 24 in the future as i love the idea of racing alongside a few friends and working as a team.

@@hugopereira2883 no problem at all. As for cost karting is definitely the cheapest way to get into motorsport but as with anything it just depends on how far you go with it. There's a lot of outdoor kart tracks that do competetive racing and you have to use their karts so its equal and all down to driving skill. That's probably the best place to start as sometimes it actually works out less than just paying for a karting session when you work out how much seat time you get. It obviously gets costly when you start having to maintain your own Kart.

It was a hero 7 black, I wouldn't recommend it though. I always have issues with it
