The thing about Manhunts is that the gamemode plays into all of Dream's strengths. He has amazing movement, he is able to work under pressure, he is quick on his feet and can make new plans and decisions quickly and in my opinion most important of all he's amazing at quick risk assessment. In a split second he is able to decide whether an action is too risky or not and whether the risk is worth it. The last clip is an amazing example of that, and some of his other skills. He's falling with the water and with every second he's losing height and thus losing advantage. He needs to do something right now. But instead of doing something rash, like attempting to swim out of the water and water or block clutch, he actually takes the time to look around properly because even under all that pressure he realises that the risk of losing some of the height is better than just doing something without thinking. This kind of mentality is something that has kept him alive through a number of situations in Manhunt and one of the things that sets him apart from other Manhunt runners.

Everybody talks about how good Dream is, but the othera are Pros too, just pale a little next to dream... watch Sapnaps reaction to the TNT in 7:58 ... he was aiming with the bow, as soon as he sees the TNT, he switches to blocks to try to block the explosion, then when that fail, and he starts to fall into the void, he changed to ender pearls and used, but George gets in the way, he realized that in a instant and tries to ender pearl clutch again, but its too late.. we get to see George ender pearling too as sapnap dies... also the sapnap "save" in 17:07 when he remembered to leave his armor to others, speed bridge and jumps to disable the flying machine... also Bad's crystal killing Dream... they are all awesome

At 6:30 dream was doing a manhunt where random items are dropped and they have to fight using those items, he got tnt and place a truck load of tnt under the ground. So when sapnap and George were chasing dream, dream lit the tnt under him and built up so he wouldnt die immediately, the hunters had no idea there was tnt, so when they tried building up, they had already been dead. Dream also died but he died last and the hunters died first

I love watching people seeing Dream and the Dream SMP guys for the first time. They are all highly entertaining, and Dream is an absolute MLG god! I’ve been watching them for as long as I can remember. Other great videos to watch are Technoblade (RIP Techno 🕊❤️🐷👑) but his pvp skills in bedwars and skywars, etc…were truly amazing!

Yeah, things he mentioned is that he and the hunters (separately of course) plans out different strategies against each other. Dream with the clutches and traps, the hunters with traps or teamwork. But when they would use it always depends on how the hunt will play out. He then explained that of all the hunts he records with the boys when he does a clutch for the first time, he saves their genuine reactions just in case the hunt ended poorly (means the hunt didn't end in a satisfying quality for content). So when they go for another run, and he does the same clutch, the hunters wouldn't be as surprised, in order to add up to the effect, he uses the formerly recorded reaction and overlays it to the final one during the editing process. It's literally a movie man, so cool.
