Yeah I suggest to people not using the racing line. It helps with speed judgement, and just developing your own lines.

I’m enjoying the game and the updated physics and photo mode. But I’ve had 3 game breaking bugs on the PS5 within my 1st 2hrs 2 x grass landslides onto the road 1 x sound completely cut off. Also there’s no surround sound or HDR support?

How are the options in this one? Are there AI difficulties and are they more consistent than 2? Can you resume a race?

AI has a percentage slider. I haven't had a chance to test all levels. No race resume I'm aware of, this can be a pain on longer races.

@@TeamVVV in the 2nd game if you went back to main menu it saved your spot in the race. It wasn't well signposted! Glad there is an AI slider . Playing the 2nd and the AI passes me and then goes slow so I can catch up again. Thanks for the reply

Starting to get the hang of the game a few bugs here and there I'll be honest I despise the career mode I just want to to ride the tt which I have been doing, it's really intense with onboard I'm using helmet cam which I actually haven't cared for in bike games before, I've seen people saying the sense of speed is gone onboard it feels insane the speed along with the bumps the bike wheeling while trying to stay in control is really impressive

Yep, replaced now.with real courses and roads on the island with detail that matches the main circuit.

Looks great and tempted to buy like I did with part 1 and 2 and Ride 4 but somehow I am not good at motorbike games @Team VVV . I somehow can’t get the hang of it. So I skip and wait for F1 23 which looks promising. Also wonder if you have already some REAL news on Codemasters first incarnation of WRC this year (hopefully).

I bought the edition with the McGuinness suit and livery but where do you find it? Good camera view you're using here. It's my favourite but helmet cam is really good too.

I’ve found frame rate feels off, especially in wooded sections, thought it might be an Xbox one issue? Not how I wanted to feel after my first few hours of gameplay

my first impression issnt very good feels and looks very flat no depth to it, exmaple: TC2-3 gas outside the corner - engine revs go up nothing happens. Coming from SBK22 which wasnt that good as well this feels like a step backwards. Had RIMS better in my mind but I dont see a real improvement from there on. Milestone did more tweeks over the years which add up to be better.

Sorry but it’s not enough of an advancement over 1 and 2 to invest in. I was expecting an overhaul of physics but am left disappointed. Roll on August for Ride 5.

From 1 to 2 the difference was a waste of money.. however from 2 to 3 is well worth the new feeling of the bikes etc.. much better game IMO

Looks good but it’s a shame it’s not laser scanned . I’m pretty sure the previous devs laser scanned over here to make their track.

AFAIK the main course is still laser scanned. Only the rest aren't as part of the new open world system. It will be very difficult to laser scan the whole island.

Soooo I had the game early access on the PS5, I really like the game and I’m enjoying the new physic’s for this years edition😇 But! I must say that the graphics loading into the screen as I approach Corners is a huge disappointment, this should not be happening on the 5th generation consoles…. Unacceptable in my opinion as my Ps5 cost me £500 😔

@@BigSaleGolem it's clearly still KT engine, what does a different developer have to do with it? If you can't tell this is the same engine as IOM 1 and 2 I don't know what to say... what engine do you think it is? Took 2 seconds to find... "Raceward Studio has implemented its KT Engine to use on the series and while it isn’t a large studio working on the title, the effort can be admired. The series is a niche title for a niche fan base, but the love for racing can be felt"

It's a difficult balance. On the one hand, they have an engine they can eventually tune to do exactly the games they want, on the other side, development can appear painfully slow. Unreal would unlock better graphics, but still a lot of developers are hitting a ceiling recently and can't get the support they need.
