I'm going on my second day of taking down Xmas decor by myself. My better half has been working long hours, and my daughter is out of town with her Dad and sisters for the Holidays. But he will put all the bins up in our attic. Last year I started buying red bins from Big Lots and purchased one more this year with an ornament tub holder for my glass ones. I'm so tired, but I typically do a tablescape for New Years and decorate my buffet table (simple). I normally leave it up through the month of January. Glad you have help because the wiping down and storing in all the rooms can become a lot. I normally use newspapers for glass and wrap in bags, but I will use your idea with wrapping the soft and glass in one bin. Thanks for another great video and sharing your family. Happy New Year!! We decided to use our time off for my husband and I to declutter and organize our master bedroom. We have gotten rid of a lot of stuff. Please don’t give your dogs raw hide treats... it’s so hard for their tiny tummies to digest! I recommend looking into it and making the switch to some higher quality treats, bully sticks are a great alternative to them!

Any who, I remembered your advice with using your soft stuff to wrap fragile items and I thought it was brilliant. We use newspaper or bubble wrap and then set all the stockings on top. Jeez. It's so warm here I'm feeling like taking down my decor... This is unheard of because I normally drag it out. One year I took it down on Valentine's Day. Lol! But I have started to realize my anxiety level is lower with less stuff around! PS. I give my dogs natural rawhide on occasion. I see other people commenting about it. We found that antlers and beef femurs last longer and they loved them just as much. Femurs are cheaper than antlers. Also not as messy as rawhide. But you do whatever you think is best for your pups-- I also let them have a few pieces of human food as treats on occasion.... And our dogs always live very long lives! So just like Momming, everyone does things differently and have different outcomes. I should have sent the furbabies some antlers instead of those ill fitting pajamas lol

I speak in kindness... but PLEASE research rawhide bones for dogs. I seen the gifts the boys got and rawhide is a horrible choking contributor for dogs. Ask your Vet. Our dog almost died and would have had I not been home to get it out. Once they get them chewed down to a nub they just try to swallow it and it can easily get stuck. I seen the HUGE one you have for George and that would be fine if monitored~ gonna take him a long to get down to a nub in that 😂 But their are better options ~ more nutritional and safer. Bully sticks and antler type chew bones! Not trying to be bossy ... just giving some information in case you weren’t aware! Like I said it’s all online and you can discuss with your Vet. Hope your New Year is Fantastic!!

I'd have to go back and watch it again, but I think just a small artificial plant or something would look great there! I will probably start taking my christmas down on New Year's Day. I don't know if I will get it all done, but if not I will finish it up within a few days. 😀 I'm ready for it to all be down but I'm too lazy to do it right now and my husband isn't as helpful as yours. He's helpful with many things (does Laundry, loads/unloads the dishwasher, etc) but Christmas decor isn't one of his things!

I also take down my Christmas decorations on the the 25th. I have done this forever. I understand this is not for some. But for me it works. Then I start with buying new sheets for the New Year. My next job is rearranging my closets and walk in pantry. Love your channel beautiful one ❤
