When A.C. Moore was closing, I would ride past the store, initially once a week. As the markdowns went up, my trips became more frequent. Finally it hit 80%. Then it was like letting a kid loose in a candy store! (And I didn’t know that if you bought more than 50 skeins, they took an additional 50% off your total! I went back when it was 90% off and made another super haul! (Again with an additional 50% off, if the purchase was over 50 skeins.) I do still have some of it yet in my stash. 😊😊😊

I know it's the obvious (and impossible) suggestion, but don't buy more yarn for a bit. 😂 Or use 2 skeins for every 1 you buy for awhile. I don't do tons with yarn, but my yarn balls seem to be never ending. I use up like 1 ball a year. This year I loom knit 2 adult sized hats with 2 strands per hat to make them thicker, and it seems like I still have 50% or more of each ball left. How many baby hats can I make per ball of yarn...dunno, I never run out. I need to finish loom knitting a blanket with the bernat velvet yarn, then start me a blanket (that is a test run to see how many balls needed to make a tall person a blanket long enough to cover them comfortably). But living in a warmer climate means I don't want to play with much yarn. Good luck rearranging the stash.

I actually contacted Premier yarn asking about them launching the full stitch studio yarns. They said something on the lines of legal things, yada yada, perhaps one day they will be able to because like you I agree there is NOTHING like AC Moore yarns. Stitch Studio is almost all out of my stash as well, so sad.

Have you ever tested vacuum sealing the bulk inventory of skeins in those storage bags? You could get a bunch of medium or small bags and just pull single colors in each?

I'm pissed at Joann's also. I hate when they have it listed in stock and then turn around and cancel it. I've been waiting since the 13th for the order to be picked up for shipping with what they do have. I get it, it's the Holiday but not the part about stating it's in stock and then it's not. They need a better system.

If the goverment shuts down and you bank through USAA they have already guaranteed 0% interest loans for service members not getting paid. They've offered this before during past governmental shut down scares and unfortunately I'm sure we'll have more in the future. Its definitely not the thank you our service members deserve.. but may help float you until his backpay comes in if it ever actually does shut down in the future.

I've noticed you tend to shy away from undertones more than colours. Blues and whites for sure because they tend to be Bright. But anything with Neutral, Soft or Warm shouldn't aggrevate the sensory intake for the migraines nearly as much🧡🧡🧡
