Hi guys today I am going to Teardown my Hp Victus 16 Ryzen 7 5800h+RTX 3060 variant and Upgrade SSD we will also check What are the Upgrade option??
I am Upgrading it with WD Blue 1TB NVME M.2 SSD. I will teardown the laptop step by step process so you can understand and easily do it with your system.
Then I am going to check SSD performance.

gracias por el video, esta muy bueno tengo uno igual a ese y le cambie la pasta termica de fabrica por una cooler master Cryofuze y basicamente bajo 10c la temperatura del calor de la laptop pero al destaparla vi que no tiene pads termico en la memoria de la GPU y los otros componentes que estan cernanos a la CPU/GPU, como no tiene pads termicos no se de que grosor comnprarlo, tienes idea de cual seria la medida correcta ?

Hello, bother. My victus comes with 8GB(4x4) RAM & 256GB SSD. I'm upgrading I'll simply install 1TB SSD. while coming to the ram I'll install 16GB single chip more. ?Since tech guys say MIXING ram is not a good idea, Because of single channel/dual channel, etc. In my case, it will be 4GB+16GB=20GB. Is that a good idea or I remove both 4x4 and install only a single 16 GB. Thanks

Get a shim for a cell phone or any thin plastic. have to pry it up slowly. clicks together around the entire chasis and 2 or 3 spots in the middle. just put 32gb of ram into mine, waiting on a 1tb nvme. Good luck. it is scary pulling it apart. Take your time.

Hey Sam, I hope you managed to make a decision. I purchased this laptop and have been very pleased with it. Although I'm not doing 3D rendering, I do do data analysis. This device handles large data sets with ease, even with a couple hundred thousand data points on excel. It is designed for gaming in mind, and it's very effective at rendering visually-complex games like subnautica. I think it would work well for you.
