surprisingly enough, teardown runs at about 40fps on my intel uhd620 with 720p resolution. Considering the steam deck's gpu is significantly faster than a shitty integrated one, i think it will run fine

That's because Dennis wasn't planning on making a game at first. He spent a lot of time making an engine capable of wonderful things, and after showing videos of it that can be found on his channel, people suggested he should use it in a game. And that's how Teardown was created. He's a one man AAA studio.
