Wow, interesting! I have the Same issue as SG - the dispensing level came off. Is it worth the trouble of fixing, or even possible?

thanks for your video, do we also know how to fix the water dispenser lever. It seems I can't dispense water using the lever, it has come loose

Hi, thanks for your video. We have the same model and followed exactly what you did. We took it one step further and removed the cooling fan, heat sink and peltier from the 'refrigeration' unit. We were shocked by what we saw inside. We were expecting to see a lot of tubing. But we didn't. The OTHER side of the peltier is a smaller (fanless obviously) painted heatsink that constantly touches water in the unit. A hidden (roughly) one litre unseen tank. THAT'S RIGHT. OUR DRINKING WATER TOUCHES a painted heat sink CONSTANTLY. I'll let that sink in. We had CORROSION and GUNK constantly touching the (unseen AFTER FILTERED) water inside . Because of the design of the insulated unit, there is a platform with small slits on the bottom on the side. Even if you drained the water using the drain plug, a lot of the gunk will still stay (UNSEEN) and continue to collect inside on a platform near and above the bottom. Meanwhile if you used it normally to dispense water from the tap, the pressure of the (one litre) water in the unit forces water through a small tube near the bottom back UP and into the exit tap, but most of the gunk stays behind on a different platform. We are going to switch to a clear filtered jug that we can put in the fridge. At least we can see all the water from a jug.

Wow, thanks for the advice, I was going to try and fix it but... There a reason why some products are discontinued. I'll recycle and scrap what I can, literally 'Tear it down', Thank you.

@@astralalienvideo You're welcome. And thanks again for the video. If you really are going to scrap it, you should look inside just past the other end of the Peltier. It makes you wonder if all the other water cooling filtered products are designed the same way. Kinda scary if you think about it.
