I'm a retired EE,and MANY other past jobs, too many to count. I rolled when you described MicroWave Energy by the analysis by the way of the Maraca ! But it's close Cigar for Lay people. High RF excites molecules just like that. I also noticed your nod to wifi proximity domain. The ONLY thing i would have stressed a little Harder would have been the DANGER Power Supply Voltages are for Magnetrons and what they can be. They can hit 2000,4k on up ! And the CAPS DAM sure will knock you on your @$$ !! But GREAT VIDS ! i just found your channel. Keep them coming !

Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate your support. The maraca analogy took some time to come up with but I ran it past 2 EE's with RF experience before I made the video, I'm glad you're all in agreement!

Are the copper-wound ferrite cores behind the back-cover housing acting as a choke to attenuate HV rectification spikes/ringing from entering the tube? Essentially isolating the magnetron tube from the peripheral circuits?

I always assumed the magnatron tube was a glass tube. I found out a year ago i was wrong. Interesting!

could cut one in half but there's no moving parts and not much to see. I think I have one out in the shop someplace though.
