My band had been doing ok for 6 months, but the battery doesn't last for more than 4 hours since tried swimming with it on.

My band touch has failed in the middle, has never dropped it. Apart from swimming with it but has no traces of water inside

@@ismaeelitr8919 the quality has been worsened over years. Have MiBand 3 and has lasted more than 4yrs without any issue. It’s battery and features are now out of date

did you use a heatgun before you pry the screen open?

I did, but mine came off pretty easily without applying much heat. I am not sure if it really needed one.

the battery can’t be separated from the board?

It is possible, but wire is direct soldered to board. I dont have right tool to put it back so I did not take apart in my video.
