I have a square drop trailer myself … there is some great camping in Australia, we don’t do much camping in the snow , have to go to the high country for that … but we do camp in winter …😊

If you install that light on the opposite side (front) of the storage box, it will still light up the entire box but won’t shine in your eyes.

I see you've got string lights. I've heard that if you use colors other than white, you don't attract bugs. Is that true? Did that little heater keep your camper warm? It looks like just what I'm looking for 😊

No idea on the lights. I'm pretty sure if the bugs you're talking about are the ones that bite humans, they will find you no matter what lights you have! Heater worked great! Just can't run it too long

How did the towing in the snow go? Did you have any issues with the trailer tires slipping and causing the trailer to swing around while on turns?

Only other trailer is a tab that we rented and took up to the Canadian Rockies. It's fine, just heavy and lower quality

Hey Anthony! It is an ALPS Mountaineering Ultra-Light Tarp Shelter that I originally got for backpacking. However, works great all around the trailer as well!

Hey Chuck, currently carry on top of the rear truck box. Took out the back seat years ago and installed a rear trunk box which covers the back half of our Jeep. It's been amazing! You can put anything on top, will hold up to 500lbs. Watch our last HipCamp video and you can see a quick shot when I open the rear window.
