Hi ! Scrubing your elbows and knees will actually male them darker. The darkness in those areas is not due to excessive pigment but skin buildup. So if your scrub the area you are actually telling your body to produces thicker skin which will appear even darker overtime.

I did NOT know that... Then how do we clear it if not by scrubbing it off??? I don't have dark elbows but I noticed one of my elbows is a little darker because I'd lean on it when I sat on my work chair. I only leaned on that elbow and only it is darker. So now how do I make it go back to how it used to look if scrubbing is not the answer???

@@faithwithmandy hi ! You have to exfoliate with an acid or use a cream with a high concentration of urea ☺️. You can also do chemicals peels, it takes a couple of sessions to see the results ( the skin will shed off). Hope this helps ❤️

@@jadamayers6968hey ! Glycolic acid for rough areas like the elbows or knees won’t do much. However, you can use it on your face and armpits. Never use acids everyday. Try to find how many days per week is best for you ☺️. May I ask what is the percentage of tour glycolic acid product and also do you know the ph of the product ? These two informations are very important 😊
