I have several Porsche including some vintage cars and my Porsche dealer will allow me to drive in for minor idle adjustments at no cost. I’ve even had them refuse to bill me for a minor issue, even after insisting for an invoice. Porsche looks after their customers, service isn’t cheap but it isn’t Bugatti expensive either. He's not going to retire completely, his shop will be open for years. That's what employees are for the boss guy can relax at home more.

$20 part on a $2mil car. What a WHEW! Thank you @Hoovie for sharing your car life with us.
@richdixon4 сағат бұрын
also, I've watched Hoovie for a long time and I took it for granted but I have an new appreciation for Hoovie spending illogical money to keep cars out of the salvage yard and on the street. He's kept tens of thousands of pounds of materials out of waste and in useful function. Hero work.

Man, the shop insurance is astronomical just for having a Bugatti on the property, I can only imagine how much Tyler's insurance is for owning it!

Great to watch. Even though these have been around 20 years now it’s not like blokes in sheds are spannering them on KZbin very often. Wizard has obviously had to claim off his insurance enough times to know the risks involved and likely the aggravation on top of a normal day’s work in the shop. Theoretically any experienced Porsche/Audi/VW tech should recognise most of what is going on inside a Veyron I would presume?

Model S Plaid with the track pack can do 204MPH, but not for 20 minutes on a charge! It takes about 22.5 seconds to hit 200 vs Veyron at 22.3 seconds. So, it pulls hard all the way as well but most EV's don't. The track pack is $20k extra still better than 1/10th the cost

Further confirmation that if you want status and a sense of theatre on the street, nothing else will match a high-end exotic. But for most gearheads, track time with a less expensive vehicle makes far more sense.
