Fact of the day: The MG42 was one of the most feared weapons of the war and American and soviet forces had to create special units to combat it on the battlefield. It was named Hitlers buzzsaw as it absolutely mowed down troops of the allied forces throughout the war and is still used in the present day by a variety of forces across the world because of its effectiveness.
