Two custom rules for four souls that are very nice are: -Players with 3 souls can't earn special souls (guppy,greed and gluttony souls) -Players revive at the start of their turn instead of on the next turn As for different ways to play: -Eden Streak: All players are Eden -The Pact: When you die the item you lose goes to the player on your right -Soul Rush: Only need 2 souls to win, if you die you lose a soul (maybe remove the lost and the 2 soul bosses) Starter Kit: Lay down 5 lines of 3 items each player picks a line as their starting items (they can still be lost on death and destroyed) Traditional: When a boss monster is killed discard all monster stacks and shop items (symbolizing moving to the next floor) Reincarnation: When you die draw a new character (you still keep your non eternal items and pay death tolls normally) As you might tell I quite enjoy the four souls content and would love to see more, also it's very nice to see you enjoy playing Isaac instead of raging at the fact that you didn't get a good secret room when you give yourself infinite resources. PS: You could have used the i-frames from hurting yourself with the IV bag to get the bomb and key behind the spikes instead of bombing the mushrooms

Its a lot better when you're going through a real journey and naturally progressing insteada just trying to force an interesting moment artificially with constant editing and modding and self deprecating humor and unreasonable irritation cuz that's when all of your best jokes come out to play The only mods I think that are completely fine in not being cheating are graphical mods, just mods that make the game look nicer I guess. I got a lotta them. Another thing I wanted to say just now so I just edited in here this is the edit is that I have absolutely no idea what these glitches are in your game where the unlock prompts show up twice because I have like a hundred mods (thats not an exaggeration i dont even have all of them on but they make the game lag REALLY bad) and I've never had something like that happen.

I won't deny the fact that I'm happy to watch you play BoI again. Your reactions to various things is part of what makes you so much fun to watch, and Isaac tends to have a way of getting really good reactions out of you. The only thing I fear is when the Lost returns, as I felt every time you played the Lost, it was less "I'm mad because the RNG is making things harder for me but that's to be expected" and more "This bullshit is so tedious and basically requires good luck to even be possible!" levels of mad. Basically, I hope that you can continue to enjoy yourself without getting actually pissed off when playing. I look forward to more in the future!

This. This is what I wanted to see from any Isaac in future. I thought I wouldn't see this again, but some vanilla stuff is just what I wanted to see. My only suggestion for Four Souls is bringing back the original editing for battling. It made each episode super cohesive for the viewer, and more immersing to boot.

An idea for Four Souls! Player who killed a soul monster has to roll a die. 1-2: soul is lost (be it a single one or a multi-soul) 3-4: player gets to keep the soul 5-6: player has to donate the soul card to another player of choice (or random, if you want to keep your friendship going for a bit longer) It's a rough sketch but I'm sure there's a nice (and cruel, but whatever :D) game mode hidden somewhere in there once the roll values get balanced (like 1 for losing, 2-5 for keeping, 6 for donating)!

Now I know you may never try this, but I accidentally discovered a flower of flaming pain with three items on Azazel. Burning Bush (Good start, great item) Coloboma (Hold on, fire shotgun but actually fire?) Tetrachromacy (If you want full pinwheel of pain) The addition of actual Brimstone is at your discretion. I would advise to just start like this. I also want to say I love your content no matter what it is, but it is you who got me into Isaac which is now a favorite of mine. Keep doing what you do best and what keeps you ever farther away from destroying personal property (just in case)

Honestly I love any four souls content because it is just legitimately funny. Maybe for custom rules try setting a turn timer, see how much a time limit messes with your memory or maybe you end up shaving the items you have total in order to maximize efficiency

I have an idea for a vid, a simple build but I found it fun. Cupids arrow for penetrative tears, polymeus for giant ones, the item that makes tears bounce and the ring worm trinket. Again, a simple build, but a fun one.
