The Lord Jesus delivered me from nicotine 35 years ago showing me it was all wrapped up in my desire. Please read Book of James and be conscious of the sin that so easily entangles you. Give it to Him. Give Him your desire for cigarettes. He will hear your cry. Stop trying in your own strength. Only He can free you. I will be praying. James 1:13-17

Just don't stop trying. It's a terrible battle, thought I'd go crazy. But Jesus delivered me, in 1979. Still free- bc I didn't just say it's ok bc I can't quit. God bless !

paul forbids you from judging people on what they eat and what they drink, yes that is wine. the communion wine in the bible is actual wine, as Paul condemned some who even got drunk on it {he did not condemn the drink} John the baptist never drank wine, while Jesus did have wine in His water. you have stood upon a stage and condemned yourself you might as well ban people from eating unclean meat next

Dear foundsheep, I think you missed the point of the message. But take a deep breath and receive that if that is his conviction let him teach it. God has us all on a journey. Don't judge him in his teaching of refraining even if you partake. I praise God for these older brothers in the Lord who still have conviction about such things. It's so refreshing.

@@cb8957 actually i will judge ''his conviction'' is not what i judge, if he choses from a weak concience not to drink that glory be to him, what i'm judging is that he forces other to live under his own conviction not that of the Holy Spirit through the bible. he preaches falsehood and should be reprimanded for it

God does not want you to smoke or drink a damn drop If want to be more like Christ Then don't drink don't do drugs Do you think Jesus drank alcohol? Absolutely not Give it up man Be an example to others I gave up smoking and drinking to honor Christ That's trust that's strength
