I like that album a Lot wonder why they didn’t
@steuph19762 жыл бұрын
It's a lovely album. I wonder if one could be really proud of that sleeve though, it looked a bit like a cheap version of the Seeds of Love one.
@damnyankeefl2 жыл бұрын
there were problems with that album getting released I was reading about it. maybe it's legal maybe they just don't like it. weird . they specifically said this new one is most representative work since the seeds of love. it's more than the cover
@damnyankeefl2 жыл бұрын
The songwriting sessions included Charlton Pettus (Smith's collaborator since the mid-1990s)..hmmm. maybe that's why . they dont' consider it a real tears for fears album

Love Tipping Point, but sad no mention of .. happy ending. Honestly, I'd let ve to hear Roland to even try to talk about Raoul... Le sigh.

These guys seem so much more “human” and approachable now and not the enigmatic sort persona they had years ago. They seem ready to discuss all that they’ve been through together and separated and it’s beautiful. Love all their collaborative albums-Raoul and the Kings… is an amazing album but I can’t help but see it as more of a Orzabal solo effort. TTP is fantastic and is album of year thus far.
@rumblefish92 жыл бұрын
There is a clear tonal distinction between TFF and Roland's solo stuff. Tomcats Screaming Outside is so far from TFF though.

I've been a big fan of these AMAZING men since the late 90's (I was born in 1985), "The tipping point" is simply mind blowing! However, "Songs from the big chair" has a special place in my heart and forever will. "Everybody wants to rule the world" is Tears for Fears' BEST song. That song is everything, it's so iconic!! Btw, Roland and Curt forgot to mention the "Everybody loves a happy ending" album!!
