i kind of agree with Elemental + Raoul being the best he'd really hit his stride by that point, and the solo album is awesome as well it's a huge shame that all 3 of those albums have essentially been erased from their live repertoire since the "reunion" last decade. it's understandable for the solo album but in that case i wish he'd have at least done a couple of tours for it or something

I saw TFF live I 1993 for Elemental and in 1996 for Raoul and the King of Spain. His voice is actually more power live than in recording. I actually believe he held back the power during tge recording sessions. He blew e TF away with the beauty and power of his live singing.

Tears for Fears supported Elemental with a live tour of North America that took place between August and November 1993, followed by one concert in Paris and four in the UK in December 1993. The band assembled for the tour comprised Roland Orzabal on vocals and lead guitar, Alan Griffiths on keyboards and guitar, Gail Ann Dorsey on bass, Brian MacLeod on drums, Jeffrey Trott on guitars, and Jebin Bruni on keyboards. Orzabal retained this band for the recording sessions of the next Tears for Fears album, Raoul and the Kings of Spain (1995), which was recorded between 1993 and 1994.

I have to say… I was never a big fan of TFF’s until recently I discovered this CD called Elemental! Wow! What arrangem😢, what a voice this guy had! So I wanted to see if he could sing it live the same way. This video didn’t disappoint at all! In 1993 - when this was taped, the man was amazing!!! Totally underrated vocalist and composer. I like the opening ad lib “…. Did you lose your Faith in God ..[ no ] “ 👍🏼 Note: I understand that a lot of these songs on the CD were written with his band mate in mind.
