I love how they performed every nuance of the of the original studio recording.. They didn’t deviate from the original and this is how fans want to hear the songs they fell in love with. More bands should follow suit .

The video I watched just before this one was pre-Tears For Fears first TV appearance in the late 70's (?) How different they look now! Roland's voice has stood the test of time, dang he sounds good.

I saw them at the Merriweather Post Pavilion on June 19, 2022. I cried like a baby. This band saved my life and to hear them live and to be so close to them… It was magical. They sounded so good and had such good energy. I danced and sang and I never act like that in public, even my friend said she has never seen that side to me before. I thank Tears for Fears for saving me and helping me through my tough times.

Saw them on tour in like, 2015 or 2016. They are the tightest live band I have ever seen. The songs were radio-exact, pitch perfect, on tempo, with no compromises or hang ups. Close your eyes, and it might as well have been 1985 again. They occupy this really weird space in the pop music lexicon where they are both absolutely a classic 80s band, yet still totally underrated in terms of musicianship and the incredible stuff they were cooking up in the studio. There are some absolutely beautiful deep cuts on their first 3 albums that nobody talks about (Swords and Knives!!!!).

I got to see this show and it was sooo good! They did a multi-song encore too that was equally amazing. After 2 years of all the shit we’ve been through, it was such an amazing relief to see these guys playing together again! They are just so effing cool 🥰

I was never into the 80s music. But for me there are three exceptions of UK bands I admire. Depeche Mode, The Pretenders (only the first 2 albums) and of course Tears for Fears. Masters of their trade, musicians with passion, writers of eternal hits. Respect!

Their live concerts in KZbin I feel that I'm already and having such a great time All these years they sound so original, genuine voice of Roland and Curt are one of a kind. Incrível né? É uma característica de músicos q possuem uma verdadeira obsessão por qualidade. Eles já comentaram isso em entrevistas. Por conta disso, além de outros fatores, demoraram para alinhar novas composições. São perfeccionistas e riem falando q isso atrapalha. Envelhecer faz parte, todos nós estamos nessa estrada. No caso de Roland, o envelhecimento estético TB foi acelerado pelo problema com álcool. Ele passou por mtos tratamentos. Só sei q esses caras são maravilhosos. Amo mto o trabalho deles. Vida longa e próspera ao TFF🖖 !!!
