Thank You! I took the TEAS 7 on June 30,2022! I only had 30 days to study for the exam and within those 30 days I was working full time and picking up overtime hours at my rehab/physical therapy facility so I did not have time to really invest in reading the big yellow momterix teas book I brought on amazon. The only prep that I did was watching your videos. Sometimes I would watch your videos while at work on the night shift. They were right on point. My highest score on the TEAS 7 section was in the math section 😺 followed by science then reading and last english. Thanks to your videos I got into the RN program (received my acceptant letter today 07/15/22). I will be starting Sept, 8, 2022. THANK YOU!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!! I already started watching your dosage calculations videos.

I just finished my teas and my overall score was a 65. However, I got a 82 in the math section. You truly helped me and everything you went over was on the teas. I am a bit stuck on what to do now since i don't know know if i should apply right now or wait until next semester. What I do know is that I will come back if I need a refresher.

Glad to hear that the videos helped. Though I am in no position to provide application recommendations, I do know that various programs across the country have different goals set for their program. One distinguishing factor that determines this is the location and the saturation of students applying to the program. Have you checked with your program about the cut off scores? It's so embarrassing because I've taken chem and even got an A but for some reason my mind couldn't grasp dimensional analysis until today!! I don't have to fake it to make it anymore. I honestly don't know why my brain didn't understand it but wow!! I really hope I can kick arse on my TEAS. Idk when I will be taking it because I am trying to get into an LVN program, but honestly, this gives me hope that I can actually go for my RN

I love DA and I'm glad you found this helpful. I definitely prefer it when compared to proportions, though proportions are still great, but only when comparing two things. You will also find DA helpful in med dosage! ;)

omg. i always hated Math and my brain just rejects the info. been like 10 yrs since i’ve been to school. english is also my second language., i’m binging your videos because I want to be able to pass my TEAS Exam. I got laid off from my corporate job of 7+yrs and decided to return to college and get into the nursing program. it’s competitive and so i’m hoping i’ll pass and get in. i’m taking general studies starting in Jan and I have months to prepare. Math is my weakness and I love how you teach us how to do it step by step like we never learned it because that’s what I really need. I used to perfect my anatomy exams but math, i just hated this subject LOL

Hi Brandon I'm alittle confused with #3. When you got the radius that was 8. I thought you had to square it 8×8 according to the radius.. but your multiplied it 8×2 and you got 16 for the circumference. Just a bit confused. I understand where the 18 came from. I just thought it was being multiplied 8×8

The diameter is TWICE the radius (8x2), but if you are dealing with the area you SQUARE the radius (8x8).

I’m a little confused on question no.2, since the diameter is in inches, and the answer choices are in feet. Shouldn’t I convert inches to feet also to get the final answer?

You are the first person to notice this. That is a typo in the problem. All of the answer choices should be square inches (not square feet), which means no conversion is needed. Thanks for noticing this.
