can I select more than one item in a class at once?for example is there a select all button?

Yes, you can select more than one item at once. After you select the "Add Goods/Services" button, you'll be given a search bar for the ID Manual. Simply type the name of the good or service into the bar and select "Go." For example, you could type "shampoo." In the list of results, select the check box for "shampoo" and for any other shampoo-related items in the list that you also use with the trademark. Next, go back to the search bar and type in another good or service that you provide. For example, you could type "comb." In the list of results, select the check box for "comb." Repeat the process until you've selected the check box next to all the goods and services you use with the mark and want to include in your application. Now select the "Insert checked entries" button. The system will insert the complete list into your application and you can then add the filing basis for each entry.

Hello guys and thanks for the good tips. In this case where T-shirts has two hits on the same class 025 but in separate sub-descriptions, one is "T-shirts" while the other one is "T-shirts for...2" does this count as applying for 2 classes and i would have to pay a fee corresponding to 2 classes? My question comes up as I am looking into applying for a trademark for a massage apparatus but when looking up the database I see several "sub-classes" with different "term-ID" all in the same class that fit. Last but not least, should I select all "sub-classes" whose description fits the kit or should I just select one? What makes the job easier for you fellows? Thanks

Anything in the same class requires one fee. It doesn't matter if you have 1 item or 1000 items, if all in that one class then the one fee covers it. You should select whatever is accurate, at the "highest" level. You want the listing to be broad, yet accurate. For example, if you had long-sleeved shirts, short-sleeved shirts, polo shirts, and t-shirts, you could simply select the listing "shirts" because that covers all types of shirts.
