Jennifer V Hi! Thank you so much. Congrats to you and your first year in college. I would def wait till after a&p. That way you will have the foundational knowledge you need for the concepts of the TEAS. Especially the science portion. Don’t shy on the math either ☺️. Any way that i can help just let me know! Good luck sweetie

At 24:16 it was stated that 4 types of neuroglia are a part of the CNS and 4 types are a part of the PNS, there are only 6 types so I googled it. There are 2 types in the PNS and 4 types in the CNS, just for clarification. This has been so helpful, that was just driving me crazy though, hope this helps someone else. Good luck everyone!

I just passed my ATI TEAS with dramatic light speed all thanks to the help of Mr Adrian When I first heard of him I thought it was all a scam and by that time I never had much of a choice so I said to myself "what dose not kill me only makes me strong" He provided me with questions and answers after I paid him some money and believe it or leave it, they were the same question I met on the day of my exam. I heard of him after failing the exams twice. I can now boost of being a proud ATI TEAS all thanks to him. So I believe if you need assistance, he is the best person that can help you. You can get to him through Email: adrianpual6@gmail.com Or WhatsApp: +1(786)3221508 He has other options he helps people with like updating the scores from a fail to pass

Thank you again for your videos. I just watched part 2 as well. I have never taken anatomy. I am an adult student, when I hopefully start my nursing program I will be 29. Previously I studied English and have my BA in that. Currently I am a flight attendant, but have decided to return to school to study nursing. Do you have any tips for someone who is pretty new to science study, particularly anatomy in general? I have the anatomy coloring book, an ATI TEAS Study guide and am enrolled in an online TEAS test prep course. I have taken notes in my notebook from your videos about what to study more throughly, but any advice would be appreciated. My test would be in January so I am trying to study as effectively as possible.
@smbmx65814 жыл бұрын
It sounds like you are doing well studying so far. I would use my videos and the ATI review (even though the ATI review is somewhat basic). The reviews give you areas to dive deeper into. The actual Teas test will have some pretty specific anatomy questions. It's going to be challenging to take the science portion without taking Anatomy. However, it is very doable. The key is to score high on the other 3 sections so that you have some leeway on the science portion. You don't need a super high score on the science portion as long as your other sections are good. I have a feeling that you will OK.
@ashleygeyer2084 жыл бұрын
Scott M thank you again for your advice, I really appreciate it.

At around 10:30, you referred to skin as being an example of a visceral organ. Is this correct? I just wanted to make sure since visceral referred to internal organs and I thought skin to be external. Thank you so so much! Your videos are incredibly helpful!
@JB-bj2lq4 жыл бұрын
Lauren Ford he said it was somatic
@robinsonservices53 жыл бұрын
epithelial tissue is internal as well. It lines internal organs and mucous membranes too :-)
@lauraventerosa30103 жыл бұрын
Remember that the integumentary system (skin) is called am organ because it includes more than one type of tissue and the derivatives of other ograns such as hair, nails, glands, nerve endings etc... But, the epithelial layer of the skin organ can also act alone as a mucous membrane such as an epithelial membrane.( there are 2 types of tissue membrane- connective and epithelial). There is a subcategory of epithelial membrane that is called cutaneous membrane and is exposed to the outside. That is what we typically think of as "skin"... Sorry, I know it sounds confusing but I hope it helps!.so you are right.. Typically the skin is an "organ system" :)

Thank you 😊🙏 I’m trying to get into another school and I need to take the Teas exam. I completed my prerequisites for my bachelors of nursing, and two semesters of nursing classes, but my school was too expensive. Now looking for a cheaper school to go to, I found one and I was really worried I wouldn’t pass the Teas exam. You have given me more confidence that I know my stuff and it isn’t based on overly complicated things.
