Landed here bec of the link fr watching an episode on "Bright Sun Films". These two segments together are like getting front seats on witnessing a great parable on the dynamics of commercialism. J.B. talking about the failed venture in a summit comes across like a cross between what a snake oil salesman and a televangelist would look and sound like. I cannot quite put a finger on it but the body language, voice, etc all vibe an overall sense of desperation, duplicity, and drama. Weird, strange, eerie...kinda like what the HRP looks like now. Thank you for sharing this.

TEA, thank you for sharing so many incredible videos from the 2017 Summit. You should know that the audio on this video, and at least one other that I have watched, is out of phase. That's why it sounds so thin. It can be easily corrected. For those watching, you can improve the sound by adjusting the BALANCE all the way to LEFT or RIGHT.

Hello I'm John once a worker at the Hard Rock. As we were told at the indoctrination meeting, there was 7 years of planning before one shovel of dirt was turned off. One technology I liked was the water fountain guitar. It had steams of water you could play music just like a guitar.

“Know your audience” aside from 2008 being a financial crisis in the US, parents having to explain every song and ride theme to their children would have been a nightmare. I’ve never understood the hard rock brand or why it commands such high cost. No doubt this park would fail then and now

Nah. You're absolutely wrong. Most kids don't question that stuff. It goes over their heads. Anyone who's taken their kids to see Shrek or watch the Simpsons know that! Had this opened in 2013 or 2014, with a national ad campaign, it would still be open today.

Aaaaaaand this is what clinical hypomania looks like. Here's what I took from the amount of the video I could watch before I finally just went "NOPE! I can't deal with this": 1. A good sign would have been if banks had been excited but didn't end up investing because of the IP. It sounds like they weren't excited AT ALL and that the IP was like "Well, ok, maybe." 2. Maybe all the reasons why everyone and everything was saying "This is a bad idea" meant that it was in fact a bad idea. 3. Harassing your neighbors for money to open a theme park is undoubtedly something a hypomaniac would do. It shows no respect for boundaries - not the physical ones of good fences and good neighbors; not one of keeping finances out of relationships. 4. You really don't get why there are more rides and parks based on movies and those brands of IPs? Really? Different doesn't mean better. 4 seasons? Sure, why go see Pixar characters when you can see... Santa? In July, I guess? Definitely not something you can do at the local mall. Oh? What's that you say? But it's in July? Well, I can't fault you there - I'm all in! 5. Where does the surfer accent come from? 6. Go figure that investors wouldn't want their other properties to be hurt by your weak ass idea. Everyone needs to stop acting like this guy is so great. There's a reason that this thing that was supposed to be so great and that reason is him.
