Dziekuje! Finally someone did a proper demo of this! Most of the demos are going through amplifiers which Paul did not intend (and says so in his interview) or multitracked in a song so the sound is not on it's own.

Did you cut a little bit of your input signal before going in to the pedal? I have the same pedal and a set of active emg and the signal from my guitar is too hot for the pl1. Btw very nice review video. Your playing is awesome!!!

I have this same pedal, but while recording I get a horrible hiss from the top end. I’ve done everything to lowering the gain, high and low pass filters, eq, and it’s still there. Do you have any tips on getting rid of the hiss? I’m also using the balanced XLR into a Scarlett focusrite

Maybe try to check your settings on the interface. Try to lower gain knobs to the minimum.

If that doesn't eliminate the hiss, please email us directly and include all details (anything else in your signal chain and the order in which they are connected, power source, settings of each knob and position of push switches, etc.): [e-mail].
