The cost of doing anything is so high in the US. The reason why engineers come to the US is because, just like anything else, the cost of engineers in the US is also very high. So companies have to go countries where engineers are cheap. Engineers can be cheap in the US, too, if the cost of preparing engineers in the US is cheap. Is the education system in the US willing to make education more cost-effective. Also, are the students in the US even interested in learning Science Tech Engineering and, most importantly, Mathematics? Mathematics is feared in India, too, but in a nutshell, mostly people are pretty good at Mathematics in India.
