@@Quakecon-s9r Ironic considering each fighter/mech are heavily inspired by existing mecha properties but that's part of its charm. You wouldn't see a Valkyrie fight Ultraman or a Gundam fight a 70's magic house robot or a Metal Gear fight Voltes V but you can in this game.

This game, is a relic from a time long lost, when games were free from political agendas, free from mad greedy minds that put profit above quality, a time when games were fun, no matter how bad they were, and this game is special to me, for another reason, its pretty much a Game that feels almost like an eternal christmas gift for Mecha Fans, and for me, is among the Peak Fighting games ever

I'm sorry to have to be the one to say this, but Tech Romancer came out the same year of Metal Gear Solid. Games have never been free of political agendas, and some were make great because of them, like the strong enviromentalist undertones of FF7. That said I understand what you're trying to get it, I also loved this game back in the day, and we're a long, long and far aways from the summer of 1998. Times change, and for better or for worse there's no stopping that.

You had to send a mini game to your VMU, after you get enough points by playing the mini games, you send use those points to buy things. One thing you can buy is this opening.
