Their bosses don't know how the conversation is going, so in theory he could see them hanging up as a possible loss of money, it is apart of their script to start turning violent and saying things like "I have your computer hostage and you won't get it back" they literally don't think of anything for what they say.

@@KioneWinterHowl No that makes little sense. Especially after all these years with these scammers doing their thing, they know when a call isn't going to get them any money. I think they keep the scam-baiters on the phone so they don't waste the time of other scammers.
