Whole bunch of haters and ignorant people on here. Only communication-based fields require speaking English (Office, doctors, teachers, etc). Athletes, construction workers, miners, etc. Don't need to, because they have their physical skills to make a living. So don't shame him for not wanting to learn English. That's his choice. That's freedom.
@AlexLee-fp9cd7 жыл бұрын
David Stewart he does speak a little English it's just easier for him to speak Spanish
@smityc167 жыл бұрын
I mean, baseball is the only team sport that doesn't need communication. Football can't even run a play without everyone speaking the same language

In a country like US journalist should talk spanish at least with a medium level. Millions of americans do speak spanish so the problem is not with Chapman, who is in US just cause he is a star. Journalist should try to be stars too in his subject, starting by learning languages.
@garlicknot8875 жыл бұрын
But if you’re going to live in the country where the dominant language is English, the least you can do is learn the language

It's definitely genes and talent. It's definitely not strength. I'm way bigger and stronger than him but probably throw 70mph max.
@trivellekoolaidrian69214 жыл бұрын
@RK Goscv I'm 32 and am a ballplayer, incognito. Lol You process body mechanics & comprehend skill advancement properly. "Genetics" honestly do not give you an advantage in most parts of athletic performance. It is a word cynical losers say whenever they feel that word "Insecurity" creep in.
