It would be a bit more digestible if you could compare it with other day-to-day fitting techniques, to grab things easily for a person like me who is interested in Hydrogen but has very little knowledge. Just to let you guys know that Parker A-LOK twin ferrule can be remade many times as per the EC79 standard so it is not correct to say that the end user has to cut the fitting off every time. We do not recommend using any NPT threads and seal tape such as PTFE on Hydrogen installations. Please get in touch with Parker Hannifin for up to date information on Hydrogen fittings and safety which is so critical.
